Tigers are not originally a mountain habited animal. The commonly known misunderstanding of a tiger as a mountain-dwelling animal came from the fact that they had to escape from the human population growth and city developments. There are more than 700 records of tiger witnessed in Seoul, and more than 100 records of people bitten to death by it. Korea is also famous for their tiger fables, which makes Korea one of the tiger countries.
This project “Seoul Tiger” brings all the 20 infographics of the historical tiger events that took place in Seoul with specific dates, map, and descriptions. The graphics are inspired by the Korean Tiger Arts and the card is printed on a traditional paper.
